The “Hexenstübl, your restaurant in Zesch am See, sits in a picturesque spot surrounded by woodland. It has a lovely tranquil position on Lake Großer Zeschsee, just behind the camp-site. The rustic dining area has seating for 36 people, with more seating for 25 to 36 people on the partially covered terrace. There is a changing table in the hall, with nappies and wet wipes, for babies and toddlers. Guests can rent the camp-site’s rowing boats and spend romantic hours relaxing and unwinding on the lake.
The Voltz family has been running the restaurant in Zesch am See since 1998. It all started with a snack bar on the camp-site. In 2001, the family moved to the current building, which originally belonged to the former Leipzig Bakery children's holiday camp. Today the café is a meeting place for campers and day guests and a beautiful venue for private parties and celebrations.
