The castle bakery is on the grounds of Diedersdorf Castle, a popular event and day trip location just a few kilometres south of Berlin’s city limits. Felix Otte, who comes from a Berlin family of confectioners, took over the castle bakery in June 2020 and, in addition to various cakes and tarts, serves delicious coffee specialities from Heimbs coffee producers. An absolute highlight at the bakery is the old oven that makes crispy tarte flambée. Bread is also available. You can linger for a while art the castle bakery with the best view of Diedersdorf Castle courtyard. The castle is also a popular stop-off for cyclists who want to explore the northern section of the Fläming tourism region between Blankenfelde-Mahlow and Stahnsdorf. The wall trail is just a few kilometres away and Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park is close by too.
