Gastronomy

The hotel and restaurant are housed within an impressive-looking building with a unique history: William II had it built for his son as a high-class summer residence in the year 1890. Recently, the Art Nouveau villa has been restored to its original design. Guests of the restaurant dine in stylish surroundings in either the Bürgerstube Falkenhain or in the Restaurant Falkensee. In fine weather, there is additional seating at one of the tables around the bubbling fountain in the ”Finkenkrug Summer Garden“.

Selected German traditional fare is served. The menu includes hearty salad bowls and appetizers as well as meat and fish dishes. They include regional classics, such as original Finkenkruger “Triple Knuckle” – a variation on knuckle of pork. And vegetarians are also well looked after with Swabian Spätzle potato noodles. There is also a children’s menu.
