The restaurant Zunfthaus 383 is located in the narrowest house in the town of Fürstenwalde. The restaurant has been located at Tuchmacherstrasse 12, in the immediate vicinity of the cathedral church of St. Marien, for over 370 years. Our house is a mere 3.83 metres wide but offers plenty of space for up to 40 guests on three floors.
Using a quaint old-fashioned dumbwaiter lift, the food and drink is delivered by hand from the kitchen on the ground floor to the upper floors.
Having to walk up and down the stairs many times a day from the kitchen to serve the guests on the upper floors, the staff get plenty of exercise here. André Quirmbach, the owner and a trained chef himself, spoils his guests with German homestyle cooking using fresh ingredients.
The house was elaborately furnished in a unique style by André's wife, who unfortunately passed away much too early. The restaurant exudes her philosophy of "relax and enjoy yourself".
