The Protestant church “Zum guten Hirten” in Grünheide (Mark) stands on the Kellerberg in the town center and has been a prominent feature of the town since its consecration in 1892. Particularly worth seeing are the apostle figures inside, which were created by the sculptor Professor Riegelmann, a former resident of Grünheide.
On the northern slope of the Kellerberg is the impressive mausoleum of the Teich family, which was built around 1919 as a round temple made of Thuringian travertine and is a special architectural feature. The church and the mausoleum invite you to discover the history and culture of the region.
