Freibad am Großen Müllroser See (bathing lake)

The outdoor pool is on the eastern bank of Lake Großer Müllroser See in the Schlaubetal nature park. The sunbathing lawn is a large area of lawn dotted with trees providing shade. A lovely sandy bathing area is also ideal for sunbathing and building sandcastles. The outdoor pool is supervised by the DRK Wasserwacht lifeguards and there are non-swimmer areas with gently sloping sandy bathing areas.
The facilities are completed by sufficient parking, bathroom facilities, changing cabins, food and drink outlets, a nature playground and volleyball pitch. There is a camp site and the chance to go fishing. A snack bar serves food and drink. The first swim of the year traditionally takes place in the Großer Müllroser See lake on New Year’s Day.
