Natural Bathing Areas at Lake Großer Lankesee

Set amid mixed deciduous forest Lake Großer Lankesee offers the opportunity of a cool dip on hot days at various unspoilt bays along the shore. To get to these, take the path opposite Ferienhof Liebenberg on the main road 167 which circles the lake to the left, also running across the long peninsula on the opposite side of the lake. The bathing areas do not have any infrastructure.
After taking a dip in the cool water, you can enjoy a refreshing break at the restaurant in Liebenberg Castle on the eastern side of the lake.
