Jühnsdorf village church, which is presumed to have been built in the 14th century, is located in the former village cemetery in the centre of the village. The striking features of the typical cobblestone churches found in the Fläming region can be seen in the main part. In 1869, Zossen master builder Klehmet carried out numerous alterations. The semi-circular apse and the west tower built of yellowish brick were added. Under his aegis, the nave of the church was also elevated and the windows were enlarged to be arched in shape. The church furnishings are presumed to date from this period too.
In 2018, a section of churchyard wall was rebuilt according to a medieval model. Stonemason Roland Riesenberg first took down the old wall and exposed the medieval core. Using the existing stone and donated cobblestones, the wall was rebuilt using historically accurate lime mortar. It can be assumed that the wall was originally built from the unused cobblestones left over from building the church itself.

The church can usually be visited on the second and fourth Sunday of the month during service at 8:30 a.m.
