The „Kulturhaus Babelsberg“ invites you to various events, projects, courses and workshops. They are supported by the AWO Bezirksverband Potsdam e.V. - as the sponsor of the house - and by various associations that are resident in the house as independent cultural sponsors. In addition, other associations, initiative and citizens' groups as well as families and individuals can rent rooms and hold events. The small-scale room structure of the house is ideal for the event area. The location is suitable for smaller events with intimate setting (maximum 70 visitors). The traditional repertoire of the house includes puppet and figure theatre, cabaret programmes, small concerts, town hall festivals and exhibitions. The event series such as the Jazz-Blues series and the Babelsberg Student Film Cinema have been very well accepted by the public and therefore take place regularly. In addition, we constantly work on new projects and ideas and are open to anything that meets the interests of the Babelsbergers.
