The Evangelical village church is a rectangular field stone construction with a beamed western tower, which was built in 1438 in the middle of the village green. The brick extension with a polygonal spire dates back to 1908/09. However, investigations have revealed that the roof was built from oak trees that were felled in 1438.
The wood-clad tower top burned down in 1772. The present nave interior was designed in 1861. The wooden altar dates back to the end of the 17th century. The original free-standing pulpit was later connected to the altar to create an impressive structure further expanded by the addition of a sacristy. It is elaborately decorated in the auricular style with twisted columns and reliefs.

The organ was built by the Potsdam organ builder Carl Ludwig Gesell in 1861 and was expanded and modified in 1908. Three steel bells with the inscriptions “Fröhlich in Hoffnung” (Happy in hope), “Geduldig in Trübsal” (Patient in sorrow) and “Treu im Gebet” (Faithful in prayer) are located in the bell tower.
