In Michendorf, just a few metres from the B2, a vending machine from Weidelandfarm on Lake Riebener See sells fresh local products at all hours. Eggs from happy free-range hens, sausages, fresh egg pasta and ready-made fricassee and bolognese sauce await in the cool interior. Depending on availability, for example, there is a wide selection of regional sausages including raw sausage, liver sausage and chasseur sausage, all the way to game black pudding and beef salami. 
Weidelandfarm is dedicated to maintaining animals in a way that is appropriate to their species, meaning that mother cows and their calves live on rotating meadows all year round and are fed exclusively with hay and grass. Two broods of 350 laying hens each also live on the meadows in environmentally friendly, species-appropriate mobile coops, which are used to move the hens to a new meadow every 14 days.
