In 1937/1938 the Baumschule Späth tree nursery laid out a public park with numerous ornamental trees within existing pine trees.
After 1993 the park was restored and partly reconstructed with forest, heather and steppe gardens. Visitors can marvel at the diverse flora and fauna in the park as they stroll relaxedly through it.
Several display panels inform visitors about the forest-like park and its flora and fauna. A hiking trail leads to the adjacent Höllengrund-Pulverberge nature reserve.
