This three-part wall and trench system has bordered the entire town since the 15th century.
From 1848 the citizens of Bernau started to add plants to the walls and created promenades on them. The town wall has been mostly preserved, and is especially apt for a walk around the town.
The park is freely accessible, admission is free.
