The 28 meter high Quail Tower stands on the south side of the Quail Hill. The foundation stone was laid in 1938. The tower was planned as a fire department training and hose drying tower as well as a viewing tower for walkers. The viewing platform can be reached via 96 steps. Since 2012, the tower has been part of the 66-lake hiking trail.
All hikers who have climbed the observation tower on the Kranichsberg near Woltersdorf and the bell tower in the Rüdersdorf Museum Park in addition to the Wachtelturm and collected a stamp at the ticket office of the respective tower in the course of a year will receive their personally awarded tower diploma with the last stamp.
