The monastery complex in Zehdenick also includes an idyllic orchard, which was designed in 2015 according to a historical model and also houses a herb show garden since 2019.
Various types of herbs can be viewed in raised beds along the dormitory wall. In the direction of the Havel grow fruit trees on the spacious meadow while a flock of sheep takes care of the lawn. The adjoining café invites you to linger over a delicious piece of cake and a coffee, and the monastery museum tells of the exciting history of the site and also has a surprise in store for children.
