The Protestant village church in Waßmannsdorf is a fieldstone church from the middle of the 13th century. The church stands in the historic village center on a plot of land that is enclosed by a wall made of reddish bricks. In the 18th century, the parish had the windows enlarged in the Baroque style and decorated with basket arches. In 1926, they erected the west tower and had the western gable rebuilt and fitted with battlements. A vestibule was added on the south side in front of the original priest's gate. With the renovation of the roof and ceiling of the listed village church in 2002 and 2003, Waßmannsdorf was able to realize an important project.
