In the 1930s, a bathing facility was established at the former clay pit. To this day, the open-air bath is a popular meeting place for swimmers and bathers.
The well-maintained natural bathing facility at Miersdorfer See is guarded by a lifeguard and has changing rooms and sanitary facilities. There is a non-swimmer's area in the water. A sunbathing lawn, a children's playground, a volleyball court and table tennis tables complete the facilities. There is a jetty at the water's edge. Mats and tyres for swimming fun can be rented.
Bicycle parking is available directly in front of the site. An ice cream parlour is only a few metres away.
In the event of bad weather, especially continuous rain, storms and/or low air temperatures, the outdoor pool may be closed.
The outdoor pool is closed every 1st Monday of the month.
