At Kirchgasse in the Old Town of Beeskow you can find the oldest house in eastern Mark Brandenburg. A fire in the year 1513 partially destroyed the outbuilding. Some of the beams survived and were used to reconstruct this part of the house. By 1995 this historical half-timbered house was restored to monument preservation standards and can be viewed from the outside. A "glass entrance" allows you to look into the interior of the house.
