Museums

The local history parlour is located in Schernsdorf’s old village school. The interesting exhibits and silent witnesses of village life in the past allow for an insight into the 650-year-old village’s history. Among the most interesting exhibits is the hunting knife of the forester Wilhelm Reuter from the Schlaubetal Valley, who established the forest cemetery ‘Siehdichum’ in 1891.
