Palaces and Parks

The manor house is a single monument and was built around 1700. After the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War, the v. Strantz family, which had been resident in Sieversdorf for centuries, had a manor house built in the Prussian style around 1690. A century later, following the Gilly style, a large half-moon window was added, which still makes our house unmistakable today.

In 1789 the house came into the possession of the Karbe family, later von Stünzner-Karbe. The lords of Sieversdorf acted not only as farmers, but also as land councillors, and held important offices in politics and in the military. In the beginning, the manor house served mainly as the family's summer residence. It underwent frequent structural changes, but the baroque character remained dominant. The courtyard complex is also still intact.

With the help of subsidies, the wing that was demolished in 1947/48 could be rebuilt. The rooms, the winter garden and the small park are available for guests. Several times a year concerts are held in the baroque hall. Hunting school on the farm; hunting possibility (by arrangement) in 2 hunting grounds.
