The Kulturhaus in Rüdersdorf is one of the best preserved cultural institutions of the German Democratic Republic. Built in the so-called “gingerbread” style of Berlin's Karl-Marx-Allee, it is now a cultural centre featuring elaborate stage technology, original club rooms and a large dance hall.
The varied programme of events includes concerts, parties and guest performances in various genres such as classical music, rock or comedy. The premises can also be rented for festivities for up to 400 people.
The cultural centre has not been in operation since July 2024 due to extensive renovations.
