The local history museum in the "Alte Schule" (old school) is dedicated to the life and work of the life reformer and Art Nouveau artist Fidus (1868 - 1948) as well as the history of Woltersdorf.

The offer of the local history museum is complemented by the exhibition “When Woltersdorf was still Hollywood” in the observation tower on the Kranichsberg, which sheds light on the film history of the village from 1920 to 1938. The tower also offers a unique view of the surrounding area.
