The exhibition in the local history parlour is home to around 1000 items from all eras. There is also a comprehensive collection of historic archive materials. There are 150 different postcards, 5200 documents, 900 transcripts of old records and documents, 350 school photographs and more than 4000 photos. The archive also includes thousands of newspaper articles from the time between 1839 and 1990 and all articles published since 1990. There is a digitised version of all church registers since 1670, as well as historic mortgage records from Kersdorf and Briesen. In addition to this, there are close to 600 archival finds and materials in the form of original copies from state archives. It is a real treasure trove for anyone researching local history.
