Grano Vineyard
As early as the 13th century, discerning royal palates were spoiled by Brandenburg country wine from Guben.
Following on from this centuries-old tradition, vines have been cultivated since 2003 on an area of just over one hectare on the "Lange Rücken" vineyard in the village of Grano, Spree-Neisse district, which is surrounded by forests and hills. Over 4500 vines are nurtured and cared for throughout the year. Immediately after the harvest, the grapes are pressed, stored and bottled on site.
The seven white and four red wine varieties bear the official and protected geographical designation "Brandenburger Landwein" and have the right flavour for every palate.
Since mid-2024, Mr. Apitz has been managing the winery and the wine barn. He takes care of the vines with great passion. Official guided tours will also take place again, the dates for which can be found with us under bookable offers.
