Gastronomy

You can find the rather special "Germanisches Langhaus" restaurant nestled in the beautiful Oder-Spree countryside, near the town of Beeskow, surrounded by the oldest oak trees in Brandenburg, behind a wooden picket fence.
Between 1994 and 1997, landlord Roland built the house stone by stone, with his own hands and according to his own ideas. Finally, on a summer evening in August, he hosted a big party to mark the opening of the restaurant.

Now when you visit our restaurant you will be greeted by our maid hostesses who will offer you a good mouthful of mead from the cow horn before you sit down on the long oak tables to enjoy the most delicious dishes from the brushwood oven.

Tradition is important to us, so please don't be surprised if with your homemade bread and drippings you're served a soup but you can't find a spoon: we slurp up the soup here.
