Schloss Neuhardenberg (manor house)

Located on the western edge of the Oderbruch region, Schloss Neuhardenberg is a historic estate featuring neoclassical architecture, partly designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel. The surrounding palace park was laid out in 1822 by Peter Joseph Lenné and remains open to the public to this day.
The palace originated as a Baroque estate in the early 18th century. In 1814, Karl August Prince of Hardenberg was granted the estate and had it transformed into a representative country residence from 1820 onward. Since then, the site has been associated with key figures in Prussian history.
Today, Neuhardenberg Palace serves as a cultural venue with a hotel, restaurants, and event spaces. The program includes exhibitions, concerts, theatre performances, and readings. Public guided tours are offered on Sundays from late March to late October; group tours can be arranged by appointment.
