This internationally significant memorial site commemorates the battles between the Red Army and the Wehrmacht in the spring of 1945 on one of Germany's most significant battlefields at the end of WWII.

The memorial site showcases:
  • Multi-media exhibition in German and English on war events, consequences of war and the utilisation of the memorial site during the historical periods; 
  • Media stations with accounts of contemporary witnesses;
  • Documentary in German, English, French, Russian and Polish;
  • and a museum shop
  • Special exhibition "Lived Reformation - The Barmen Theological Declaration"
  • Cabinet exhibition “Dear Mutti! - Lines from the war "
  • Archive / reference library with approx. 13,000 media units - use after prior registration
Admission up to 30 minutes before closing time.
