Hirschkoppel is a game enclosure that has been agriculturally managed since 2006. About 50 fallow deer are kept on around 15 hectares of grazing land on the shore of Lake Krummer See. The meat is available directly from the farm.
The animals live off the land and receive additional feed in winter. They are fed primarily with chestnuts that are gathered by kindergartners, and with hay. If more feed is required, we use crushed oats and turnips that we get from friends who are farmers.
The enclosure is open for visitors from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, from May 1 until October 31. We are also open during the Brandenburger Landpartie festival.
Fallow deer products are seasonally available at our farm . This means in particular around Easter and from late November or early December, to provide freshly butchered meat for the Christmas season. Please enquire by telephone or email in advance.
All information, times and prices are regularly checked and updated. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee the correctness of the data. We recommend that you enquire about the current status by telephone / e-mail or via the provider's website before your visit.
