The Lake Bruchsee formed due to a dyke collapse. It is located just west of Neubleyen in the typical landscape of the Odervorland. The lake is visible from the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path. There is a campsite very close to the lake, in the village Bleyen.
The lake features two bathing areas with open space and direct water access. The lake’s shape resembles a fist with four fingers, and its particular charm is characterised by various inlets with the typical flora and fauna of the Oderbruch. Parking and access to the bathing area on the northern shore is provided via Gorgaster Weg.
The water quality at the bathing area is checked on a regular basis and information is posted directly on site.
