The long and narrow lake that was formed by the Ice Age is located in the woodlands south of Trebus. Parking is available at the bathing area on the northern tip of the lake. There is also a portable toilet. The restaurant on the northern shore is within walking distance.
The lake is surrounded by a natural circular hiking trail. The water in the bathing area is regularly monitored by the district health authority in accordance with the Brandenburg Bathing Water Ordinance and is of excellent quality.
