The restaurant is in the family-run "Bergschlösschen" hotel, a large villa in a prominent location with a view of the idyllic town of Buckow. It serves a range of regional dishes with a sophisticated twist, such as "Birne im Speckmantel" (pear wrapped in bacon), leg of duck with honey and orange liqueur and schnitzel from the "Saalower Kräuterschwein" pig. Its location in the conservatory gives the restaurant a friendly and cosy feel. In good weather, guests can sit outside on the panorama terrace.
The restaurant is a "Slow Food" member.
